Private dance instructor?

Question:Hi I live in grand rapids michigan.....and I was wondering where can i find a private dance instructor? LIke what places should I look for one? preferably contemporary/lyrical! and is 19 too late to start dancing? I know sabra johnson started at age 18! and she won sytycd. so any feedback would be nice thks!

I say wonderful!!! I took adult ballet at my local Y so you can start there. Look in the phone book & even online. Be careful about spending too much money though. Make sure you're getting what you're paying for.

On yahoo on the beginning page type in grand rapids, mi dance lessons & see what pops up. Good luck!

I can't make a personal recommendation, but most studios will provide private lessons, if that's what you're looking for. In ballroom, right now I'm paying $50/hr for my one on ones.
