I'm looking to begin Latin American dancing - any advice?

Question:Hello, my name is Ciaran, I'm 13 years old and of an athletic build.
I was just wondering where would be the best place to start in terms of beginning with such a form of dance? I have no previous experience, other than hardcore melbourne shuffling.

Check out some ballroom and latin classes in your area, be prepared to meet lots of girls that will want to partner with you!

check out your local dance studios. mine has a teen latin ballroom class thats great for all levels. =)

Have you heard of Zumba before? See if your city offers it- you may want to see if any of the gyms have it. I take zumba classes at my gym and it is mostly latin and some international dance. You could also check out local dance studios as well. good luck!
