Leo's does a great job! As well as Capezio. Here is a black leotard:

You never said if you needed tights so:

Also, you never said jazz sneakers, shoes, or boots:

**** LUCK! You'll do great!

bloch is a good brand have a look in the yellow pages for a dance shop in your area leoteard come in different designs on the back so just have a look around :]

if you have smaller feet, try payless for jazz shoes. have you checked if the studio has an attatched shop? some of them do. for leotards, try any dance store, a workout section in a clothing store, or a shop in a gym.
=)

Try www.discountdancesupply.com and www.lynchs.com. It might be difficult to not be able to try the things on, but these sites are still pretty helpful.

You should set up a date and go to the dance place ask them where you could find some and they might be able to give you some stores and things like that

try capezio.com

You have to have certain clothes? I didn't know. I came to my lesson one time in a Hollister shirt and jeans. Oops! Anyway, I didn't really pay attention in jazz lessons but I can tell you that some of the things are H-A-R-D hard! But the shoes are cute and comfy.

well, you don't have to wear a black leotard. I guess it depends on where you dance. I jsut wear a balck top, that my dancing school sells, leggings which you can get basically anywhere (I got mine from supre) umm...and I wear blochs (the dance sneakers) but If your jsut trying it out I would recommend going to watch a class and see what its like before you join. Though when you first start out you should probably get the slip on jazz shoes. cause the blochs cost around $120
