I need a good theme and cheap decoration ideas for a high school spring dance...

you can keep the theme as black and white -girls wearing white dresses and boys the black suits. Or you could keep an angel theme - everyone wearing wings or you could keep a valentine's day theme even if it is not valentine's day. you can decorate the room with heart balloons and cupids. and for the valentine's day theme you the girls will be wearing red and boys will be in black. I know these are pretty obvious suggestions but i still gave it anyways.

A Hawaiin theme would be great! Everybody could wear lei's around their necks.

Girls could wear grass skirts. Boys could wear shorts and a bright, colourful Hawaiian shirt.

try a hollywood theme or a luau or something fun like that something everyone, no matter what age would enjoy.
You can go to the dollar store or any supermart, like k-mart, meijer, kroger..they normally have inexpensive party favors.

One time my friend went to this great dance! It was an underwater theme.

the table cloths were sparkly blue. The stage/D.J. area had sparkles thrown onto the floor and cut-out fish. The dance floor had blue and white spotlights on it. Of course the lights were dimmed!! This wasn't required but all of the girls decided to wear blue or green dresses and the guys wore white suits!!!!

another great theme is the Masquerade theme. this is the theme where everyone wears fancy dresses and masks. This one is great and easy.
