Question:What I mean is, my knees don't go all the way to the side. do u understand that? like if i go into the side splits, my legs are still at and angle instead of going out straight from the sides of my body. how do i make them go wider?

you just need to sit in the straddle stretch for several minutes every day and lean forward, trying to get your torso flat on the ground. You should also scoot your butt forward whenever you feel like you can go wider and lean down again from there.

practice makes perfect!!!
just keep on trying to do ur splits all the way!!!

you just have to keep pushing your self
try this like twice a day do your side splits go to the point where you are comfy and then push yourselft to where it gets a little uncomfortable and hold for like a mintue do forget to breath just keep stretch those muscles as much as possible like watching tv is a great time

What i do is. go in a straddle and push my chest down into the floor and hold it for 10 minutes and then do my split like sortof falling into it from standing up but not hard enough eay you could hurt yourself.

you can lay on the floor and pull ur knee up 2 ur chest (4 about 45sec.) then straighten it and pull your leg as close to ur body as u can

make sure your muscles are warm before you stretch by running around for about 5 minutes. then you can get in a v sit and lean forward as much as you can. also, and be careful with this one.. you can lay on your back with your butt up against a wall and open your legs as far as you can to the sides. and just lay there, gravity will pull you down.
