Question:i can't do splits, or leaps.
and i need to learn.
but, how?
i know lots and lots of stretching, but can you give some specific stretches that WORK?
i have 4 1/2 to 5 months to get these two things down pretty perfectly. so please help!!
for leaps: if you could go over everything you should think about when you do the leap, that might help.

i've danced before, but never gotten the splits or leaps down.
so i'm determined to do this !
please help me :)

try having someone take your leg and stretch it up (while you are standing) keeping your hip down, have them put it up as high as it can go and hold it there for a bit. switch and do the other leg. also lay (back down) cross legs have a person push legs toward chest and away from each other at the same time. repeat with other leg on top. hit splits for a few seconds. get up and try leaping make sure for leaps, you sache (spelling) and make sure you push down and spring up from the floor with alot of force. Push down to go up is what my teacher always says.
Good luck hope you get them (for middle splits keep butt between heels)

leaps:
pretty much splits in air
try to be up high
point toes
legs straight

try a split and go down until it hurts stay there for 45 seconds. Do this everyday. it helps trust me. as for leaps, trapalenes help a lot.
