I am only in 6th grade and there is grinding at my middle school dances and its

Question:ok its like humping ppl while dancing. 6th graders dont do it but 7th and 8th graders do and the teachers dont do anything about it. so my group of friends and i were dacning and some 7th grade boy thought we were 7th graders ( were pretty tall for our age ) and started grinding/humping us i was really grossed out and pushed him away. i dont know what to do bc i want to go to the future dances!

of course, seems like these young kids are getting alot more stupid every day

just send an anonymous e-mail to the principle of your school, and send it to other staff members of your school

make something up to get their attention, pretend to be a group of parents if you have to
but have someone spell check it, because if the letter you send sounds bad grammatically, they probably won' t believe that a parent sent it

good luck, and if you have to, just go to the dances but don't watch the perves

same i'm in year six too but i feel sorry for u coz u have to put up with those guys but sorry i don't noe wat u should do sorry

why dont the teachers do anything about it?? I could see why its so uncomfortable, but sorry to say it doesnt get any better, wait till your old enough to get into a dance club, and they think it's all right to do that. That's when a big slap across the face is a fun thing to do.

The teachers shouldn't allow this to go on....especially at your grade level. If the teachers won't listen, complain to the principal of the school. Bring your parents in on it too as this is totally inappropriate behavior. You basically are being sexually harrassed by other students and this is illegal. You have the right to go to school functions and not have to worry about such things!

If you're not comfortable, then don't do it. Just dance with your friends and try not to dress like you would enjoy that kind of thing. Just dance with you friends and have a good time. As you get older, you'll think differently of this. It really is harmless, but still makes the point of getting close. Teachers don't do anything because they did it when they were young, and also because it is harmless. Try not to think too much of it. Just hang around the people you feel comfortable with.

Aww you aren't even in high school yet. I mean you wont mind so much when you get more into guys, but it gets really ridiculous sometimes.
Most of the times you just have to ignore it and dance how ever you wanna dance.

You need to be firm from the start with these advances.
Don't ever do anything you are uncomfortable doing.

Sometimes it is easier to ignore what is happening and not make an embarassing scene etc.

But if you learn young how to stand up for yourself when your uncomfortable it will lay the foundation for your future so that you aren't used in life.

When I was in school, graduated 02, they did not allow grinding. Your lucky cuz next year you get to do it.
