How to make my tap shoes dry?

Question:I washed them cuz they stunk. I put em a bucket w/ soap and water. I need to have em dry by 7 for a show.

Can I put em in the dryer, or should i blow dry em. Any other way to dry em?

I would blow dry them!!

i am a tap dancer too. i dance a philadanco in philadelphia. when i wash them i wash them by hand but anyway when i dry them i tie like a wash cloth over the heel and to so they wont' break the dryer, then put them in the dryer. I want you to know that this is coming from a 13 year old boy.

Put them in the sun or by a fan heater

Well you should have not washed them, the only way to clean them is with a rag to clean the outside, the inside, you should just get a spray or put baby powder in it, and that should take the smell away. And to dry, well you will just have to air dry them.
