How are ballet socks different from regular socks?

Question:some male ballet dancers wear socks with footless tights. are those just regular socks or are they different? i have a pair of footless tights that i want to wear to dance next week so i was just wondering.

They are exactly the same as regular socks. Just try to get 'low cut'. And what color tights are you wearing? Cause the guys at my school where black tights and white t-shirts (I thought you might like that better then pink!).

they are much thinner and have different meterials then normal socks if you want some they have all kinds of colors for you maybe marron or black or maybe white you could try red too depending on your outfit like i think you should wear like a white t-shirt with marron or black or white tights or leggings and like white or marron or red or black or whatever looks good you can get those socks from any dance or ballet store or walmart or anywhere like that. I think normal socks are more compy but that is my opinion well good luck
