I am a dancer too so i have had some experience. I would just listen to my i-pod and go over the dance but usually i dance with a team so we all practice the dance together. When you go out on the floor dance your heart out and just give it all you've got!! Good Luck!!

dont worry about forgetting something....ive been only dance for 8 almost 9 years and only 1 year of competing and i get nervous too....this is wat u do...before u go on that stage u take a deep breath go over the routine in ur mind a few times before(if u have time) and just go out and do ur best....ull be on time cuz of the music and cuz of muscle memory with the music u shouldnt forget something...if u do forget something use ur perentheal vision to find out where u r in the music....another thing u can do is the nite before the competiton dont stress about it just relax....practice a little but dont overdo it...i hope i helped:)
