Dance Competition Music Question?

Question:My friend is doing a musical theatre solo next year for a dance competition. She is thinking about using either the song "The Music and The Mirror" from A Chorus Line or "The Life of the Party" from The Wild Party. Which do you think would be better for her. Keep in mind that she is fairly young. Also, if you could give me any more music suggestions to give to her, it would be appperiated.

i would suggest "The Music and Th Mirror" because i've never heard that one at a competition. also try looking at some musicals and their songs because after all the category is called MUSICAL THEATRE. good luck.
