haha what my friend did once was get this giant block of ice delivered to the guy's house with a note that said "will you melt the ice and go to homecoming with me?" and in the middle of the block of the ice was a piece of laminated paper that had her name on it haha it was really cute :)

you could always go with the whole cupcake/brownies that have a message on them thing

orrr.....this costs $ and takes time but its really cute, you can special-order M&Ms that have words on them (you know how they usually ahve an "m"....well you can have them print whatever on it) haha.

umm what i did once, my school has candy-grams that they send out for christmas, and i sent the guy 8 candy grams which all said "will you go to winter formal with me" and each candy gram had a letter on it and they spelled out my name (my name is 8 letters).
