Question:in P.E. this week we have been doin leg muscle workouts... we did squats yesterday... and usually i dont feel this sore!!! my legs feel like they are plastic or sumtin.. cause i cant move them alot or it will hurt like heak... :)( ..... and dance tryouts are next week.. i wanna try to do my best.. but i cant do my best if my legs are retarded like this!!!! does anyone have any ideas of stretches or sumtin like dat???? please help me.... :D thank you so much!

you might be pushing yourself too hard.. so take a break for a day or two of dancing.. then start to do quad stretches: this really helps me-
kneel on the ground then lay down (if you can) and try to make your back as flat as possible..it helps a lot

You just need to stretch, stretch, and stretch. It will take a lot of time. but you can stretch that lactic acid out. Sit in a hurdle stretch. Little by little lay back. You need to stay at least 30 seconds in each position. Relax the pain away go a little farther down and stretch for 30 more seconds. Continue, continue going a little farther down and relaxing for at least 30 seconds. Do the other leg. Stand and press your heel to your buttocks. Another 30 seconds. Do the other leg. Experiment on your own stretching and relaxing the pain away.

well, tell your PE teacher. most of the time the "average" people tend to work the wrong areas a dancer needs to work on. also just stretch/work it out. maybe try to counter act it.
