Position:Home>Dancing> X hiya X i'm 18 and used to be an Irish dancer i now want to join again am i

Question:YAY! Finally another Irish Dancer on here!
I'm 15, and that's the heat of the competition. It really depends on what your'e planning to dance for. If you want to compete and go to Worlds or All Irelands, I think it would be a little late unless you have been doing somethinhg to help strenghten yourself. If you just want to do it for exercise, I think that you should probably just go the gym. Irish Dance is very expensive, after Dresses (now running for 3K), wigs (up to 200), and shoes (100 each). The gym would probably be cheaper. Please email me if you have any questions!

xXxhelloxXx xXx no age limitxXx

We're all welcome here! Cheers!

There can't be any limits, The Sligo Slipper Flipper (Michael Flatley) is about 60 ;)

no there is no age limit, u should join again!

there's no age limit. I used to be an Irish dancer and would love to return, however, the only thing that puts me off is the fact that the majority of people would be really young. Any adult classes i have found have seemed to be more ceilidh dancing.

Good luck

You're never too old to dance! And 18 isn't old anyway.

Find a class on http://www.danceweb.co.uk - use the left hand navigation bar FIND, then WEEKLY CLASS.
