Position:Home>Dancing> How to do Choreography?

Question:Yes, Step up 2 the Streets is a kick *** movie. Are there any sites, dvds, or books and stuff where I can learn step by step choreography (boy kind please. I am not gay, I don't wanna be shakin it like a pom pom). I am new so I can't really learn the advanced stuff. And if you can post any that are free like I can read and has pictures or something, that would be greatly appreciated.

The choreography for Step Up 2 is insanely intricate and crazy. I learned it with Dave Scott, the choreographer, at the Pulse dance convention a few weeks ago. There aren't any sites, dvds, or books that will help you with learning the choreo... I doubt there are even YouTube videos where people have attempted it. It's wicked hard. Your best bet is to take hip hop class at a good studio and ask the teacher if he/she is willing to help you break down the choreo.

P.S. Just because you're shakin it like a pom pom doesn't mean you're gay. Relax about the whole gay dancer image. Have the booty poppin guys in Live In Color seemed gay to you?
