Position:Home>Dancing> Dancing?????????Question:well i have danced before like some ballet and jazz/hip hop... but i mostly did gymnastics i was a gymnast for 8 years but i messed up my knee pretty bad and i cant tumble ne more, but i have always loved to dance and have been told that im great at it and have a gift! : ) well ill get to te point im going to start dancing again in a couple of days im taking a hip hop class.. i need to know what to expect? what do they expect of me? what do i wear? btw its a 13 and up hip hop class! Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well i have danced before like some ballet and jazz/hip hop... but i mostly did gymnastics i was a gymnast for 8 years but i messed up my knee pretty bad and i cant tumble ne more, but i have always loved to dance and have been told that im great at it and have a gift! : ) well ill get to te point im going to start dancing again in a couple of days im taking a hip hop class.. i need to know what to expect? what do they expect of me? what do i wear? btw its a 13 and up hip hop class! well in most hip hop classes u jsut wear baggy sweatpants, sneakers, tank top and jacket buttt it matters on wear your taking it cause some dance studios have a clothing restriction where u can only wear black bottoms and a tigh shirt what i would do is call the studio and ask so i dont look stupid going in with the wrong thing lol thats your best bet and dont be scared of doing it hope u have fun dancing xoxo all places are different in my hip hop class, i just worse tights, a leotard, shorts and a tank top, and black tennis shoes honestly, confidence... just act like you know what you're doing even if you don't. it will come across to everyone else that you do. they will expect a good, positive attitude and a willingness to learn. if you can try and get up front, get noticed, and have fun (: I'm doing hiphop right now and I lovee it!:) I just wear anything confortable like jogging pants,tee and sneakers. Our coach told us never to wear jeans. Also expect a lot of push ups and situps coz it will help your muscles go strong. We do a lot of warm ups |
