Flexibilty is a critical part of ballet and the only way you can develope it is by dedicated stretching. The best way to stretch is with a partner that way you have a person there to literally push you farther and deeper into the stretches and you can also make it a friendly competition into who can go the furthest.

In ballet the most critical issue in flexibilty is usually the hamstrings. The easiest way to fix that? Splits. And the easiest way to get your splits? PRACTICE! Warm up with a quick but brisk barre and then just drop into your splits, hold it for a few seconds and then drop into them again.

My biggest tip is: Use gravity to your advantage. Let gravity pull you down further rather than you try and force yourself into a position, this works a lot better. Trust me.

just hold ur left, right and center for at leas 30 seconds

Make sure to stretch only after you are warm other wise it will do nothing for you. Go for a run first or stretch when you first get out of a hot shower. Also hold each stretch for thirty seconds and repeat it three times. You have to be consistent and do it every day or you wont improve.
