"I'm Only Happy When it Rains" by Garbage [if you want an upbeat, yet not girly song]
"Everything We Had" by The Academy Is..[slow and pretty, can match baton moves with beat]
and "Beat It" by Michael Jackson [if you want a fun song.]
A LOT of people at competition did
"What I've Done" by Linkin Park.
it all depends on your style.
