It's probably breakdancing. Although breakdancing has a lot of acrobatics (such as backflips) and spinning on hands and stuff, there's a lot more to it than people think there is. It's a really complicated dance style. Just because you can do fancy moves, doesn't mean you are really good. Here's a good example of bboys who don't do much flips.

Breakdancing is the most common name for it, as far as I know but most dance schools will offer an Acro or Hip Hop class instead.
