What do you have to do to be a good pole dancer?

Question:I'm currently considering going to Uni this September but I already have credit card debts / bank loans from working crappy min wage jobs for the last four years. I really don't want to get into even more debt as I'm already struggling to buy basics like food!

I have been considering doing something like pole dancing for a while and was wondering if I'd actually be able to do it.
Not in the emotional side of things, as I've been looking after myself since I was 16, I'm very independant and have confidence.
I'm just worried I won't even get asked to audition on how I look. I don't have big boobs (I'm an A cup), I'm a size 6/8 and I'm 5"2.

I have so much admiration and respect for pole dancers, I see it as a great way to keep fit, build even more confidence and to just have a good time and make a bit of cash!
One last thing I wanted to ask is, if you're required to take your clothes off? Sorry if that sounds stupid question but I'm interested in pole dancing & not stripping.

I would say work on stretching regularly to loosen up your limbs. You need to be fit so the pole dancing classes are good for fitness and technique. Also you may need to do some extra exercise like running.
I think it sounds like a good idea and you may be able to find a club that will allow the dancers to keep lingerie on - that will involve phoning about your local area though.

I know a few people that do it as keep fit, google "pole dancing lessons" or some such thing and you should get a few hits..

Sorry. I don't know of anyplace where people pay money to watch someone pole dance with their clothes on. Why don't you install a pole in your home and use it as a workout tool. Then get yourself an honest job. Good luck!

"admiration and respect for pole dancers"?? Are you insane? Most of them are crack ho's doing it to pay for their drug habits.

Something else? ok - barmaid, waitress, shop assistant - and you'd get to keep your clothes on.

i know you're all worried about your appearance and whatnot, but the fact of the matter is, to be a pole dancer, you have to be 100% pure, lean muscle.
its like a gymnastic routine parallel to the ground.

Not only do you have to strip fully naked but you have to spread your legs and show your pusssy to the audience

most pole dancers are required to perform private dances which is how they make there money not buy pole dancing. you will need to check out the differant clubs and see what there policy is as you my find you will have to be topless on stage and fully naked in a private dance.

as for requirments you will need confidence as you will need to chat up men and give them the come on in order to make your money.

as for looks every man is differant and want differant things but it does not matter how you look if you have the gift of the gab and can flirt you way to a bit of money

do your reaseach and make sure his is what you really want to do as if its just for money how far are you prepared to go ? you need to think about this very carefully as you may think your strong enough but when the reality hits are you ?

ignore all the other answers that were trying to put u down mate! i say fairplay to you, if you have the confidence then go for it. not every bloke (or women lol) is into big boobs and the barbie doll look. a real girl is much more attractive.
you wont have to do anything you dont feel comfortable with either although you will have to dress down to at least your bra and nickers!
because you have confidence though i think most people will find that the biggest turn on!

and yes, you are required to take of your top at least if not nude ... if you're interested in making money, you'll have to prob. get some kind of breast implant as a stripper

if you just want to do pole dancing and keep fit you can simple sign up for a class but you will be paying not getting paid. or simply find a sugar-daddy to pay for you ... or you can meet him at a club, bar, strip club etc.

you can try waitressing in a strip club or gentleman's club which you'll get to dress sexy, flirt and make good $ and tip and won't have to take off your clothes
