ponche-one foot facing one side of the room and other leg extended towards the ceiling in a vertical split

arabesque-like a ponche but instead of legs in split legs form a right angle

pirouette-turning on one foot

plie-bending of knees

eleve- going up on toes

releve-plie then eleve

there are many, many, more...try googling dance moves and positions.

hey what type of dance?? i do hip hop if thats any help.
