I never buy the next size up, so that may be a factor. Also, not all dance tights are 100% nylon, so you can definitely try something new. It takes a while for some people to find a perfect fit for them. Good luck!

They should. All my friends are in ballet and I'm thinking about joining. Anyway, my friends told me that they will because you probably usually don't wear tights very often.

Form a Male dancer's perspective. All dance clothing feel weird the first time. There are silk performance tights and they are really comfortable. I reuse my tights when I out grow the feeting by cutting either the feet so I can roll them up or by cutting them as shorts to the knee.

There's cotton tights, and a mix of cotton and nylon.

And until you get used to tights they do feel weird.

there are some other tights but personally they are way more itchy and uncomfortable than the 100% nylons ones if you wear them enough you'll get used to them.

i guess they take some getting used to.
but i dance pre-professionally and ballet tights are
the most comfy things in the world for me now
