Well... if they give you the whole history of everything, and you only try out one or two kinds of shoes and one or two kinds of two pads... Prolly around an hour. But if you try on a bunch of shoes, or toe pads... Up to two, maybe even three. But I doubt you'd try on that many. Most I think it takes 1-2 hours.

If they didn't give you history and lectures and stuff though... Probably anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

Well it mostly depends on how many shoes you try on. It's different with everyone because you have to be sure to find the shoe that fits you the best. For instance one of my dance friends found her "perfect" shoe in about 20 - 30 minutes but another one of my friends took almost an hour and a half. And if you haven't been given a lesson sort of thing about pointe shoes yet then that will add more time unless the fitter explains as you try on shoes. so I'd say anywhere from half an hour to two hours.
