Position:Home>Dancing> Can I do ballet, and what level am I best suited for, and how many times a week

Question:I did ballet when I was 6 untill I was about 8. Then I stopped. Now I am 13, and I am wanting to start ballet this september. What level do you think I would be best suited for? It was not advanced ballet. I am athletic. Also, is their even a point in doing this? :(

I really think it's best to start at the beginning JUST because the teacher will go over the basics of ballet, which is a good thing because then you will eventually be stronger and can go faster later on. I prefer that you do that instead of starting in intermediate or advanced because 1)you won't know what's going on, 2) you'll develop bad habits which will be really hard to break later. So yeah, start! :)

If it's something you really want to do, than do it. Your dance teacher will put you at the right level.

umm.. I really cant tell you what class your best suited for because I dont know what skills you know. your probably going to have to go back into a beginners class.. but, If you really love to dance you should do it.. 13 isnt too late.

You should go for it. My friend started ballet at 4 until 6 and stopped until 12, but she can still do ballet a II-A. You should go to Vella C. Damian's school of ballet.

If you really want to do ballet, you should get training.
Good Luck!
