Is it mandatory that guys need to wear leotards for ballet class?

You can either wear a plain white t-shirt or a leotard with tights (tights on TOP of leotard). The t-shirt has to be tucked in. The tight wear is to show off every single line and movement.

In my class, my instructor only allowed us to wear jock straps. That's it.

Maybe you can wear one of those frilly little dresses too - and pinky slippers.

Women wear leotards - Men wear tights, shorts and a t-shirt. Under the tights you can wear a dance belt or jock strap...
