Buying dance tights?

Question:so i'm a guy who just started ballet but i'm kinda self-conscious about a guy going into a dance store and buying a pair of new dance tights. what should i do?

Don't worry, if you go to a good dance store, the employees will be professional and be mature. Some of the worlds greatest dancers are men, and without male dancers there would be no lifts, ect, ect. Just go in, and tell them you have just began ballet, you are a begginner, and they will help you. Remember, these people are usually dancers or ex-dancers plus they're getting paid to help you. Gratz on starting ballet, I hope you enjoy it!!

I would recommend wearing 2 tights through if the tights are skimpy and see-through.

Yeah, I bet that can be a little awkward for you, but don't worry, the employees will always help you out. If the store doesn't have men's tights, just get two pairs of womens tights, because they are kind of see through. Hope this helps!!!!
