Question:okay i have poms tryouts in one week. im sry but i just found out about it!! i really need help. PLEASEE!! ive tried websites but i need a profeshonial!!! BADLYY!! i suckk at the splits too. ok i did cheer camp for a week andstarted off not being able to do a center split but by the end i could . every morning and afternoon go to an open wall , sit down , and spread your legs apart . place the insides of your feet on the wall and push yourself forward little by little and hold it as far as you can for two minutes . push yourself from the wall slowly .

for the other types of splits just work your way down slowly

sounds like you need a structured plan of streching try stretching twice a day maybe three times if nessesairry youll definatly get them but i dont no if a week is long enough it tokk me a month to get man and 3 weeks to get my middles

Im no professional by any means....but I don't think it is something that you can "learn" in a week.

It's not like learning to play a guitar or drive a car. Your body has to slowly become more flexible and conditioned to what you want it to do. This will take time, and patience.

Just practice as often as you can, make sure you do plenty of stretching before hand so that you dont injure yourself.

okay. first of all NEVER stretch if you havent warmed up yet...it only makes things worse. I recommend jogging/walking for 10 to 15mins and then when you feel like you've warmed up enough you can start stretching.
Here are some stretches to help you get your splits:
lay on the ground ON YOUR BACK by an open wall. Move your butt so its touching the wall. now raise your legs so their perpendicular to the floor and spread your legs out as far as you can and hold for about a min. when your done slowly bring your legs together and sit up.
its also important to stretch calfs and quad muscles...but if you do this everyday you should be able to (or really close to) doing the splits

I think it is going to be really hard to earn your splits in a week, but here are some tips anyway!!! -

Stretch ALOT (but ALWAYS be warm when you do)

Ask some friends to help you out with stretching

This may be a hard task, but if u stretch as often as u can, u may be able to accomplish it. Sit on the ground, legs apart, and reach to the middle, right and left for 30 seconds. When going to the middle, keep ur back as straight as your can, even if you are not that for down, it is really doing something. If you arch, it doesn't help as much. Do this same thing, but standing up reaching down. Do other stretches like pike, quad, and other ones that you know. Hold them for at least 30 seconds. Then actually go into the splits, don't lean forward, keep ur back straight if you are doing the kind with one leg in front, it will hurt, but you will see results faster. Hope this helped!!! Remember, stretch, stretch stretch!!!!!

Stretch everyday. When youre watching tv just sit on the ground in stradle and bend forward. Try your splits as much as you can too see how far you have to go. It comes with time, and you cant really rush it. But stretch stretch stretch!!

probably not going to happen but stretch everyday and you'll eventually get it.

ok i take dance every week so if you wana do i split in a week you will have to strech for about 1-3 hours every day and practice some ballet moves. AND exercise

warm up really well 1st (jogging in place etc), then go down till u reach ur limit, hold for 20 seconds. my friend n i did this everyday and was down very soon. juz dont over do it tho, otherwise u'll b very sore

try to find a bikram yoga studio and go there as often as possible, if not try sauna then warm up properly, then engage in some stretching but do not do it ridgedly, keep it loose
try active and passive stretching or find a shaulin monk who can help you...
