Hip hop classes?

Question:im starting ....any pointers..from other hip hop dancers?

i always wear a leotard and shirt and sweatpants to class.

hiphop is soo funn .....just try your hardest and dont let anyone put you dont ..in my class we have to wear tights and a leotard with shorts and a tank top but ask your teacher what you should wear every studio is different ..hope this helps.

don't wear tights. or a leotard that stuff is really great for jazz and lyrical and what not but for hip hop you need to wear the style. I usually wear black warm up type pants and a shirt that i cut to give my shoulders more room and then i wear my green converse sneakers. hip hop is all about the attitude so do that! thats the hardest thing for me is actually putting attitude into my dancing in hip hop

honestly you can wear anything. on my team and in the classes i attend ppl come in anything BUT leotards. u can wear tights or under armor if u want, but i usually wear sweatpants shorts, etc and an off shoulder shirt regular shirt or a hoody i personally choose not to wear jeans but i know many ppl that do and dont have a problem
