Position:Home>Dancing> Please give me feedback on if you think I will make it in a certain team or not?

Question:Best if you could do: double turn, toe touch, kickline, splits, right/left leg leap, good at memorizing routines

I can do: double turn, kickline [only on right side becuase my left leg isn't as flexible], right/left leg leap, good at memorizing routines

I can't do: toe touch, kickline [on left leg], splits on either side [i'm like 7 inches off the ground but i still stretch]

Do you think I have a chance in making the team?
I take dance classes outside of school too.

Btw, any tips for tryouts will be great. thanks =)

I'm basically the person who is good at routines but not that flexible -__-

hmmmm..... I'd say you have a pretty fair shot at getting on due to your previous experience with dance. If you have a week or two i would try to stretch the hamstring on my left leg by doing this cool stretch. To do it you put your left leg out in front of you like you're doing a split but instead of having both legs straight your back (right) leg is in attitude (bent behind you). Then you stretch over your left leg and slowly extend your right leg but make sure to keep it behind you. If you did this every day once or twice you could probably get the flexibility in your left leg back.
Good luck! : )

Start stretching your left leg out a little more than your right leg to get it more flexible! Have a friend show you a toe touch! And have them teach you how to do it! Stretch for like 10-15 minutes daily too, to get a little more flexible! Try your hardest and best at try outs! They admire people who give 110%! I would say you have 55% chance of making the team! Good luck, you'll need as much as you can to keep up with everyone who is experienced!
