Question:I have a very flexible, strong back. But I can't get my stag leaps very high. Any suggestions?

if its just the height that you're having trouble with, try practicing smaller jumps and other kinds of jumps as well, everyday to improve the muscles that will help with height. Also, reeeaally think about getting a deep plie in before your jump, it can add to your height.

try stretching your attitudes a bit more everyday and maybe try wall splits too. A scorpion stretch can probably help with your back leg, and as for the front leg, just really think about thrusting it out and extending as far as you can...

the best thing is practice really. Besides that, I imagine working on leg strength would help as well.

Try doing them on a trampoline, but be sure you have a net!!! Don't want to fall off!!! Me and some other dancers once did them off a diving board into the pool, just jump out far enough that you don't hit your feet on the board or the edge.
