Question:20 minutes demi-plies, 100 minutes of other ballet moves(1 hr. 40 minutes)!!! 30 minutes dancing to music i like i to dance to! 5-10 minutes of stretching! If i did all this daily for the next few months could i get in to ballerina shape and lose weight? 10 pts.

i would suggest to not do so many demi-plies because that is what largens your top thigh muscle and ballerinas dont want that because in the ballerina world, that is not pretty.

so i suggest just buying a ballet cd. on the back it will tell you like number one is for tendus number two is for plies. if you have 1hr 40min i would do the whole cd every day this way you get a mixture of things to do!

warm-ups:
start with 100 crunches and each week begin with 100 more. then lay on your side and lift your leg to your head with your foot turned out everytime. (once you start, dont let it turn back in). do 50 on both sides. then stretch, then begin the cd.

once you do that (if you feel like you need to do more) take one of your songs and begin to make a dance up en pointe (if you are there) to get your body moving and help your arms too.

Probaly if you ate a healthy diet and such but do you really have 2 and a half hours everyday to do that? If you do go for it and goodluck.
