I would recommend more excersise and eating healthier.

When you go to the grocery store to get food with you mom or someone else, try and get food that have small amount of calories, like when you get bread try to get whole wheat and compare it with other breads and get the one with the least amount of calories.

Also try and eat 6 small meals every day as that will help your metabolism get better, if you can't eat six small meals try eating a breakfast, a snack, lunch, a snack, then dinner. Instead of eating nothing all day and then eating one big meal, eat small ones all day instead. Doing this should give you a higher metabolism therefore the fat and calories in the food woun't stay in your body.

Outside of dance try to excerise atleast another 30 minutes for about 3 days a week or more if you want.

Try running, situps, pushups, yoga, etc. Look in different mmagazines because now a days that have a lot of different excersises you can do.

Here's some examples.
-put your hands ontop of your bed, a chair or something stable and put your body so that it looks like your doing pushups and slowly raise one knee to your chest then lower it and then switch legs.

-lay down on your side and then lift your body so that all your weight is on the side of your foot and on your forearm, the side of your body should be towards the floor and the ceiling. hold for 30 secs and then switch sides.

-lay on the floor on your back and lift your legs and arms straight up in the air so your body is like a U, then slowly lower your right arm and your left leg then raise them back up and then lower your left arm and your right arm.

-lay on the floor on your back and put your hands in a form of a triangle where your thumbs and pointer fingers touch and put your hand under your butt and lift your legs off the floor just about a foot or so and spread them to make a V about three feet apart and slowly bring your legs together like scissors so one leg is on top of the other and then seperate and bring them back together but switch legs.

-lay on the floor on your back with your hands either by your side or under your butt againd and put your legs together and raise then into the air and then slowly lower them to the floor but don't touch the floor!! Just get as close as to the floor as possible.

Do these 5 excersises for one minute each every day for 6 weeks and then you should get a flat tummy or so says the article. Tell me if it works or not, I've done them a few times and my tummy got slimmer and my abs are slowly appearing

Here's a website with a video on some yoga moves to help you lose weight!

eat less

no

weight wachers program. Maybe become a vegetarian. IDK

Hit the treadmill...

well, you sound good at dancing, and like you practice a lot, so I think you have the exercise down, just find a good diet

Eat a healthy diet - fruit, veggies, lean meat and don't eat sweets, fatty foods, fried foods, or drink pop.

watch what you eat. keep a food diary to see what you eat and check your calorie intake. try to lower it and run a heck of a lot lol, or you can do a lot of cardio. at least one hour a day.

hit the gym & increase the time u practise
similarly watch ur diet
dont cosume too much fat

Okay you said your a dancer and you need to loose those extra pounds try cutting out whites no white bread, no white pasta, no potatos or anything like that replace it with whole grain and those extra pounds should melt away rather quickly. Its the same as a diabetic diet and it really works
Let me know how it works for you

take it slow. no crash diets (if you're going to do that, I'd recommend the cottage cheese diet) but that's not healthy.

anyway, go to a gym, take pilates, RUN, stay away from carbs or whatever is your "problem food" drink 8 cups of water a day.

basic math: calories consumed, calories burned

good luck chica!

Cut calories would be the easiest thing. I eat about 1,000 calories a day and have lost 5 1/2 pounds in about 3 weeks. You could probably eat more than 1,000 and still lose weight, but probably not over 1,500. Don't eat less than 1,000 though. You should try eating tofu occasionally since it has less fat than meat, and you're supposed to cut out meat from at least one meal a day.

It sounds as if your dancing work is only perfecting your technique instead of giving you a cardio work out at this point. One of the rather unfair things about any kind of exercise is that you may tend to get better at it before you lose the weight you wanted to lose. That will mean that you have to work harder to get your heart rate up to a fat burning level.

So, essentially, it seems, that you are in pretty good aerobic shape right now, which is why this dancing isn't taking much out of you.

You have to increase your cardio exercise if you wish to lose weight. Try something that is DIFFICULT for you to do, as dancing seems to no longer be hard for you at all. Try running, speed walking, stair climbing, swimming - something that makes you breathe hard when you do it for 30-40 minutes. Do that four times a week. That's the way you lose weight.

And, since you have been dancing for so long, you probably know about calorie balance. Eat right and serve yourself the right portion size to take in about 500 calories less than you burn per day. With your dancing those two days, that will mean that your calorie intake may be higher on those days to account for the extra calories you burn up in that activity.

Stop drinking soda pop. Change your diet to eat more protein like lean meat, nuts and yogurt. Diet is more important than exercise when you are trying to lose weight. You are smart to not starve yourself, that will only damage your body.

Have your mouth wired shut, or, tie your arms tied to your side so you can't bend your elbows

watch what you eat, add a little more exercise to your routine, and wait for puberty to end....you'll be fine. your body is changing at that age, and you just need to give it time!!

good luck

crunchies and push ups every day.

Well, you're still very young so you don't need to worry about your metabolism. The best thing to do is to consult a reputable nutritionist or a dietitian. They can find out what would best suite your body. For some people, the low carb. diet works great, for others it doesn't work too well. Since each individual has different body chemistry, you need to find what suites you the best. If, for whatever reason, you can't talk to a nutritionist or dietitian, then try cutting out white foods from your diet (stick with whole grains). Replace potatoes with yams (sweet potatoes). Eat brown or wild rice instead of pasta. Watch how much sugar you eat (so don't eat too many sweet fruits or sweet vegetables). Also, try not to eat "t.v. dinners," they're loaded with preservatives and other chemicals that you might not want floating around your system (This includes things like Lean Cuisine. It's fine every once in a while, but it's always better to try and eat organic, home prepared food. Then you have control over what goes into it and what you're eating). The key word is "moderation." As long as you eat reasonably you'll be fine. A word of caution, this won't happen in a week or a month. It will take time to lose the weight, so try not to get discouraged. Good luck!

take more classes. I take 9 a week which is 11 hours. it does help with weight, because i am trying to lose weight, and i am 5 foot 2 and weigh 115, and i am a size 2/3 in pants. I am also trying to lose.

i have heard that pilates helps alot and u should try weight watchers

Try pilates, and just moving around as much as you can. No cokes. No sweets. Eat healthy, and only when you're actually hungry. be sure to eat breakfast, it jumpstarts your metabolism. 6 small meals a day are better for your metabolism than 3 big meals.

umm your probly not a good dancer if youve been doing it for 6 years and are still fat... starve yourself for the bennifit of you and those around you.

ex lax always works

well maybe u should do more lessons and longer hours and watch what u eat eat only like 300calories a day
