That is considered Madison Heights or Warren, I'm not sure which, but its right there. Also, there is Pole Addiction in Ferndale on 9 Mile. I also think the Ferndale Community Center teaches belly dance, and I know the Oak Park Community Center teaches dance, even though they are Oakland County.
