don't TRY to dance.
begin by listening to the music
notice I said listen as in listen actively.
take a moment to clear your mind
maybe take a few deep breaths from your diaphram. ( which is about two finger widths below your belly button)
forget what is going on at home, work, school etc. there is nothing but the music. focus on the music. allow your body to begin moving .do not concern yourself with how you look . that is not why you are there.

Just bring glow sticks and do cool things with them like twirl them and learn a few wrist moves to use with them.
