No, there are no PROFESSIONAL BALLET DANCERS who don't have real small bust sizes. As Cbal indicated, the large-busted ballet students are pushed out of the realm of ballet dancing and they (hopefully) move onto other styles that are more tolerant of different body types. But if you are simply too big, any kind of dancing can be painful or just too inconvenient when it comes to combining costumes with full support.

Bust size is NOT a factor of diet, as very thin dancers who eat very little can have large chests. You're going to get conflicting information from people who only know those who "do ballet" as students or as amateur dancers, from people who dance professionally in another style, or those who are simply ignorant about physiology.

My daughter has some very first-hand experience with this issue. She (now) has a fairly decent ballet physique, but as she goes out to audition for ballet companies, it is more and more evident just how paramount body type is in hiring decisions.

Two of my friends have done ballet their whole life, and they are not flat chested (or even thin, for that matter).

the ones I know have conversations about what they eat. For example: 'what have you eaten today?' answer 'an apple'.
They watch every bite of food to stay thin, so no bust.

i know! once i got boobs, i was put in the back of the stage so
i quit.Haveing a Big chest is harder to becuase the boobs do get in the way of positions and when your really that tiny, you usaly dont get boobs.

I'm professional although boo hoo not prima level and my size is 32D.
I'm petite tho but the size of my breasts have never stopped me from performing and entering comps and yippee winning some xx

Not a whole lot, but theres some! Im only a B cup, and I think I have the largest chest in my class. If you do have big breasts, I dont know how it would effect you in dance other than your posture a little.

larger busted women can dance professionally....typically, you find dancers with larger proportions in jazz and contemporary companies, but there are dancers with larger busts in most companies. you counteract breast size by wrapping your chest with ace bandages and duct tape to minimize their appearance and the "bounce factor," because that can throw your technique.

I like boobs
