Spring Fling dance theme ideas?

Question:my schools PTA is throwing the high school a spring fling dance, and i have been given the job of choosing a theme. my mom is on the PTA, and im a sophomore.
but i want to know what ideas you guys have. the top 3 best answers will be chosen ( im asking the same question 3 times at different time intervals to get more and differnet ppl) and i will choose one of them. please help. thnx!!

I like the hawaii theme but if you are all dressed up in formal wear it doesn't look good. How about the theme off of never been kissed. The couples through the years. I like that idea.

i like the whole alice in wonderland theme; however, it might be a little to hard to pull off it really just depends on your budget. =]

I've always thought that a Hollywood theme would be neat, you could have a red carpet going in and a fake paparazzi.
