Question:Okay. I use to be on a drill team, tap dancer, gymnatics and cheerleading. I loved cheerleading sooo much!!!
But I had to quit. I miss it!!!!!!!!!
I don't do anything at school now. I want to do cheerleading agian. Im 16. Not reall any experience. Im skinny in 10 grade. Kinda flexable. Should I take some tumbling classes??? But Im going to be in embrassed! Because I don't even know how to do a cartwheel!!
Its start next year but I want to have a little experience you know?
Kicks are major flips are a plus. But if I can get some kicks down I should be good. Advice?? On age, having know experience and being 16 with no experience.
Thanks!!

Well, I would try beginners tumbling. It will help teach you basics (cartwheel, roundoff, backhandspring, forward and backward rolls, handstands, etc...) Stretch at home every day to try to get better kicks/splits. I think that your experience in other things will help a lot. Don't worry about your age or experience level because if you are having fun that is all that matters! Good luck, I hope I helped ( :

It pretty tough starting up again.. But you should definately try it! You should probably consider those tumbling classes to freshen up on your skills before trying out or whatever you have to do... Dont be embarassed, just try your best and who cares if they think the other people think they are amazing or so much better than you because they will be to worried about what other people think of them! If you love cheerleading and you reallly want to try it go for it! You never know unless you try... Good luck!!:)

You should definitely take some tumbling classes. You shouldn't be embarassed though because everyone has to start somewhere. At some point in time the other kids in your classes couldn't do a cartwheel either. Remember it's never to late to start, so go for it!

i would take a few classes im in 7Th grade and I'm a cheerleader i can do all the jumps but only a cartwheel and a round-off as far as stunts go but flips r a huge plus i would def take a few classes and once u reach Ur goal then quite it can only help u even more!!! :)
