I want to join an adult dance class..?

Question:i want to join an adult beginners ballet class because i've always been flexible and interested in sports such as gymnastics, trampolining, ice skating etc that involve similar asthetic movements..

i'm 18 and want to join as a hobby, i live in northern england if that helps but any information on ballet for adults would be helpful..

You should look in your phonebook for dance studios in your area. Then call each one and ask if they offer adult ballet classes. If they do, ask how many people typically take the class and what dance background the teacher has. You want a class that is at least 5 people and no more than 15. You also want a teacher with at least a lot of experience taking and teaching dance, if not a professional background. Good luck and have fun!

Look around your area in your phone book, and ask people in the area too.

I don't think it matters how many people in the class, as long as its not over around 10-15. Individual attention is good, especially for beginners.
