What exactly does grinding mean in dancing ?

Its just when you get close and basically just rub on eachother forwards or backwards. Guys dont usually use their butt, but if a girl turns around and basically moves her *** around his crotch voila! your grinding.

To me I always thought of grinding as when a couple gets really really close when dancing; like rubbing on each other. Bumpin & grindin.

Grinding is rubbing a body part, generally the pelvis, against another body part, another pelvis.

See the dirty dancing in the movie "Dirty Dancing".

yea pretty much grinding is wen the girl dances on the male really close..grinding is rather slow..u put emphasize on certain parts of the beat..umm its a rather "intimate" type of dancing..the males usually will grip ur waist or hips..n they usually r left aroused..thts pretty much all i can thnk of..hope it helps
