Question:Whats better long sleeve leotards, short sleeve, or no sleeves??? Please tell me why. What is better in preformance???

the long sleeves r more of the classical look but while dancing it gets really hot so i dont suggest it i would say the best fit for working and preforming in are the thin strap leos because they sit well to the body allow to show off the lines of the body plus u wont get as over heated

i think no sleeves would be more flattering

Long Sleeves for winter practices not performances but they are classic if its 3/4 length
Short Sleeved are best in my opinion for ballet
No sleeves is more of a tap/jazz/modern/hip hop look

for preforming i would rather no sleeves it just feels more comfortable

well for performance long sleeve can be appealing because it dosent look as casual as normal everyday leotards that are mostlikely a camisole leotard. I would say a long sleeve lotard with a very low V back would be really cool seeing on stage, if your are looking for leotard costumes look up some balanchine leotard ballets costumes (simplicity rocks!)

long sleeves will generally get too hot and if u hav a spaghetti strap u cant wear a bra so i suggest 1-2 inch straps so u can wear a bra but u wont get too hot. for performance i would say a long sleeve with a low back and swoop neck cuz u dont see it as often and its a very classy look

i personally HATE short sleeves. they remind me of what i had to wear in pre-dance when i was like 5.

i prefer thin strapped tank tops, or halters because they feel the best. i love the look of long sleeved leos, but i get really hot and sweaty and it makes me feel nasty. (also, i'm really tall and i have trouble finding long enough sleeves...)

i don't think sleeve length has to do with performance. the length of your sleeves should be what feels best, and if you don't have a say...what your teacher thinks looks best.

i would prefer short or no sleeves.
