Serious training begins at eight years old. Classes before that age can encourage musicality and love for dance, and teach performing skills before children develop a natural shyness. Four year olds make good students and can learn the idea behind the basics of dance, and can keep their natural flexibility, but a new student at the age of eight can catch up with students who have taken lessons from the age of four. If your daughter loves dance now, why not let her take classes?

3 is the best time . get her started now .. the younger the better. As soon as they are potty trained and have a good balance.

it is great to have the advantage of the early start. By the teen years a decision can be made as to how far the child wants to go with training and competion.

start her ASAP
my lil sister started dancing at 4 too
shes really good too
but she does jazz
i think
"teach them when theyre young!!!"

then do it. It is never too early especially if it's obvious that she likes to dance!

its better to start them off young at what they want to do
as they grow up, it shows if it is someting they want to pursue, and if they do, they have an edge over their competition
An example is Tiger Woods - he started golfing when we was three and now, he is practically the best

My daughter started at 2 1/2 and has been dancing for 6 years and loves it. She has dance at disneyland to carnval cruise lines... Love it. 3 IS THE BEST AGE.
