~Potential Breakup Song: Aly and AJ
~Disease: Matchbox 20 amazing
~Wade in the Water: kinda lyrically but not too slow
~Jellies Jam: more jazzy
~This is How a Heart Breaks: I'm doin a jazz to this now and it is perfect

Remember to pick a song that has emotions you can convey. Don't just smile the whole time or be monotoned, you can show anger, rage, joy, sadness, and tears all in different ways. Good luck! I hope I helped ( :

OMIGOD from Legally Blonde- The Musical
Girl Next door form Saving Jane

Breathe me by Sia.
Passage by Vienna Teng.

I also like I like African or tribal feeling songs, like from The Lion King or Tarzan.

well what ever you pick i suggest that you make sure you really feel the music. a solo is suppose to make an impact on the audience where they get lost. if you pick some random song just to dance to it sort of defies the true meaning of a solo. pick a certain situation that you're going through right now and find a song that tells that story. for example, i'm gonna dance to almost lover by a fine frenzy and i'm currently trying to get over this one guy. i can totally relate to the words and i let myself get lost in the song.
i hope you find a song that you can relate to.

good luck with your solo!
