Winter Formal: Dance Tips Needed?

Question:I plan on attending the Winter Formal at my school however i do not have any history on dancing however i do know how to loosen up and approximately 50% ^ do not know how to dance i would like some 'basic tips" "video" and just plain info on how to dance btw this is: Hip Hop,Rock,Beat,Trance i do know how to figure out the beat i just need some basic move's: instruction of a move that could never go wrong is nice... kaa: now im gonna admit right now im not the best dancer in the world... but NEways enough bout me on to u...

1.u must must must know the soulja boy... if u dont know it then learn it bud! its not really that hard i mean i have at least 2 left feet lol and i can do it ...

2.when slow dancing there are several techniqes: theres the box where u step in a box-like pattern... u no:(b=back, f=forward,lr=left or right) 1b 2b lr3 f4 1lr 2b 3lr 4f... ya know? think box-ish!

3.then theres the sway: some guys kinda pick their feet up and it look aight... but the girls complete it and make it look good lol just sway with da beat kaa?

4. heck u could always go in a circle lol

5.advice i got from my sis: just bout anything u do will look good as long as u have the beat!
