Does anyone have any tips on sewing???

Question:I need to sew some straps onto some ballet shoes and i'm not really sure how to does anyone have any tips on how to do this??? Please help i'm desperate i need to have sewn them by tonight i no i've left it a bit late!!!!!! i've already made a mess of them !! Please ....

simple as that row of dashes above, then go the other way thus filling in the spaces. So it's in with the needle and come up with it a further along

yea do running stitch back and fourth

you can do the running stitch as mentioned above or what i do is make a little box with the stitches and then stitch from corner to corner. either way will work fine.
