Question:Well, it's the summer and christmas holidays. I'm looking for advice about how you guys keep flexible over the holidays without regular dance classes like always. So please, advice is appreciated.

you just do your normal stretches you do in class. practice splits, barre excersizes, just practice what you do in class. it makes no difference were you are located, at home or in a studio lol

so just stretch stretch stretch!!! its also a good opportunity to work on specific flexibility you want to work on. its basically like independant study lol so good luck and keep with the stretching is the key.

man after break i was soooo sore when i returned. what you need to remember is to not only continue to stretch, but make sure you stretch your entire body. dont forget stuff like your arms and neck. also, if you continue to do push-ups/crunches that helps as well. lastly, i stretch after a hot shower/bath because then my body is nice and warm, even though i didn't just dance for three hours. all of these help, but i mean, if you can find a place to practice that would be wonderful too! good luck!

& i didnt stretch at ALL durring the winter breakk

stretch in front of the tv, after exercise if you do in the hols, and if you can be bothered before you go to bed and when you wake. But warm up a bit first and go gently in the morning.
