Question:I'm almost 14, I have a little bit of belly fat, how can I trim it a little without losing weight? Because I like my body how it is. I also want to become flexible (splits and stuff) and I'm not flexible at all.

Hello, I understand where your coming from!!!.
To be able to do the splits and become more flexible really just takes time and patience. try to hold stretches from between 20 to 30 seconds.Stretches i would recommend are:

1) Put both your your feet out in front of you and try and touch your toes eventually you will be able to put your head on your toes try and aim for that).

2. Butterfly sit
Put both of your feet together in front of you ( soles together) bring feet as close as you can to your groin and try to push your knees down with your elbows.

3.Sit on both knees with your back straight, put one foot in front of you so you have a lunge position and push on your knee..

4. and the last thng i would recommend is acually to do the splits, making sure you only go as far a you can so as to not cause injury.

ps. for your belly try and do sit ups as this will tone it but to actually lose weight on your belly you must do cardio workouts which unfortunately means you will lose weight everywhere rather than just in your belly area.

Do stretching. That's the only way to be more flexible.
And drink lots of water and do cardio (like running, boxing, aerobics...) To trim your stomach.

Crunches are really good to trim up your stomach and running a few miles a week could help to you don't need to run a lot just 3-4 miles a week o and just eat right don't over eat just eat a well balance diet. don't try and starve yourself you will actually start to gain weight because your body will go into a survival mode and it starts to store food more easily. i hope i helped
