Position:Home>Dancing> Can someone make me a LIST of dance MOVES - for a contemporary dance audition?

Question:NOT songs or just "whatever you do best".
(ex. do some aerials, fouettes, ring jumps, etc)

I take jazz, ballet & used to do acro.
I've picked a song and I'm not changing my mind,
so I don't need help with that, just I need a LOT of
help with moves.

Thanks

Barrel turns, c jumps, axle turns (esp double or triple), table turns into attitude, gymnasticsy tricks (like handstands or backwalkovers), fish rolls, turns with the foot in coupe, russians, off-balance turns (like a pique with the right leg in side attitude, head looking up, and arms in high fifth), double stags, etc...

I hope I helped. Good luck with your routine! Have fun ( :

Do what you're good at, but throw a moonwalk into the middle to just blow everyone away!!!

do some Barrels, back walk overs, stag jumps, half russian and full russians, pirrohettes, pike' arabesque, pike' turns, chinets, inside turns, split leaps, front/back hand spring, back walk overs, back/forward tuck, back layout, and round-offs...what is this for??? tumbling and modern jazz?

Hi. What about some floor work.? You could also try this move which i have recently done: develope, step R and lean over (repeat for L) 4 runs back and assemble over. lung L and turn. step jump and kick back L and then R then 4 runs again and assemble over. This would work anywhere in your routine. It was used in the middle for mine but it would be a fab beginning or ending (and just add a bit on for a final position). Good luck and hope this helps
