Position:Home>Dancing> Should I buy these dance trainers? Do you own a pair?Question:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V... Unfortunately, I live in England so the postage is $16.99, but I've always liked the split sole trainers and could do with some for rehearsals for my up coming theatre show. Should I get them? Is there anyone here that owns a pair of them (more commonly known as 'Blochs') and are they any good for dancing in? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V... Unfortunately, I live in England so the postage is $16.99, but I've always liked the split sole trainers and could do with some for rehearsals for my up coming theatre show. Should I get them? Is there anyone here that owns a pair of them (more commonly known as 'Blochs') and are they any good for dancing in? i own a pair, they are fantastic. they are amazing to dance in and even though they look really heavy, there not. you can also do point in them! The reasons i got them is because they have a sole that goes round the side of you foot as well giving your foot a lot of protecting also when dancing they are not hurting your feet. If you are going to dance in a show i would get black this is because it means you wont look different and also if you make a mistake people wont be drawn to your feet. I got mine from a dance shop called Dance Partners however loads of shops do them and they cost about £45. This does sound expensive but the sizes are not what you think they would be and i went down 1 1/2 sizes for comfort. So i think ebay may not be the best place to get them. hope i have helped. I own them in red, they are great for practicing jazz and tap, I personally don't like them for ballet. |
