not at all. my brother started learning about it when he was 27 and now he has his black belt and is going to start up his own dojo. and if you don't want to be with the eight year olds, ask your master and see if he'll work out some compromise for some private classes on the side or maybe there's some adult classes that they could provide. just ask around and you'll find it really interesting. I know he and I did.

It's never to late for anything.

Depending on the place you go...that might be true for a few weeks, but you will be able to move up very quickly. Also consider where you take the class...a local community center usually has classes and they are everyone 14+ is in their own class seperate from the kiddos... or community college might have a non-credit class with a more diverse crowd rather than the regular karate places.

No, it's not too late. They'll probably put you in teen/adult classes. Good Luck!

it depends on where u r going

It is certainly not too late for you to start karate. If you are planning on going to an adult class, you will not be with 8 year olds. If they do put you in with younger kids, just ignore them and you will probably progress faster, therefore moving up in levels faster. Hope this helps!

No, some schools have classes where white belts will be with their same age group. Plus it is never to late to start anything, especially if you really want it.
