Yes split sole ballet shoes are much better then a full sole. Split sole ballet shoes give you more flexibility in your arch. Full sole only lets you go so far with your arch.

Full Sole: http://www.pagelinx.com/cpzo/cg2002.gif

(just look at that difference!!)

no

yes there ok i like all kinds

They make your feet look nicer when you point! I have capezio split soles!!!

yea! cuz they give u more of an arch and they let u move ure feet more!

yup! the split-sole gives my arch more flexibilty as opposed to the full sole...i can't balance well or tip toe high enough on full-sole ballet shoes.

But when i was purchasing the shoes, the store clerk told me that full-sole ballet slippers are recommended for beginners since the fulle-sole would apparently strenghten your arch and once you've improved on balance with the full-sole, you can move on to the split-sole.

yep they are definately comfortable.

although when you change from full sole to split sole it is very strange! and you might lose your balence for a couple of lessons.

i dont really think they are more comfortable but they make your feet look 100% better

Yes definitely. They make your foot look incredibly pointed and and much easier to move around in then the one that has the bottom across the whole length of the shoe. It seems you have to point even harder with those ugly slippers.

i do, but also recomend using full sole ballet shoes for training, as they continue to help your foot, arch and calves develop muscle. split soles are more comfortable, and also show off your foot better, but for actual tone increase, i would stick with full soles for technique classes.
